The cost of membership is $35 a year, renewable in January. If for some reason you are unable to access the MAPAPA membership site to join, send an e-mail to Carol Fogelsong, MAPAPA membership chair, or contact Mid-Atlantic Plein Air Painters, PO Box 5832, Annapolis, Maryland 21403 for a membership form.

Why join?

Through exhibition, workshops, and other special events, we promote the appreciation of, and participation in the art of outdoor painting. By becoming a member you are eligible to participate in workshops, painting trips (paint outs), and special tours of exhibitions. You will receive our newsletter and e-mail updates about events. You are also eligible to apply to participate MAPAPA sponsored exhibition/events such as Paint Annapolis.

Who can join?

Anyone interested in the fine art of outdoor painting (painting "en plein air").

Levels of Membership

1. Member - Application for membership at the Member level is open to any person interested in participating in plein air painting as an artist or patron. Members may apply to participate in exhibitions. Membership is contingent upon being up-to-date on membership dues.
   
   
2. Artist Member - Application for Artist Member may be made after a Member has been accepted and participated in three juried MAPAPA exhibitions in a four-year period. Applications are voted on by the Board of Directors, and then announced to the membership. Application is currently by email or phone call to the President or Membership Committee Chair. 3. Signature Member - may be applied for after three years of Artist Membership.
